1. BARONE FORTRESS

Barone Fortress is a recognizable monument of cultural Dalmatian heritage and tourist atraction. Thanks to augmented reality using given device, every visitor of Barone Fortress can experience and enjoy one of the most crucial moments in the 17th century in Sibenik.

Here you can enjoy in breathtaking view on Sibenik and it's archipelago, walking through nice souvenirs shops and taste local delicacies, wines and olive oils.

2. THE CHURCH OF GOSPE VAN GRADA

 

The church of "Gospe van Grada" (''Our Lady Out of Town'') was erected on the site of the medieval cemetery and the small church of Sts. Cosmas and Damian. 

It's a calm and relaxing visit, especially if you love the quiet gardens surrounding the church.

3. ST. LAWRENCE CHURCH

St. Lawrence Church was built in the second half of the 18th century for purposes of the Franciscan Order. Across from the church is the Franciscan monastery from 1650 and a nice mediterranean garden. Its main building is Foscolo's Palace, the nicest example of housing architecture representing Sibenik from the 15th century.

4. CHANNEL- HARBOUR

This locality was protected in 1974. The protected landscape of the Channel-Harbour encompasses the area from the Sibenik Bridge to the end of the Channel of St. Anthony, more precisely to the fortress of St. Nicholas with the accompanying surrounding sea area. No one has yet passed through the Channel of St. Anthony without experiencing awe at this rare sight of beauty. On the Sibenik side, at the start of the channel, stand the rules of old towers erected during the 16th century.

5. KRAPANJ ISLAND

Sea-lover spots? Of course!

We highly recommend the colorful archipelago of Krapanj island where you can also find a nice sea sponge harvesting village.

A selfie with this crystal-clear water is a must.

6. WINERY TOURS

From the heart of Dalmatia, great wines are made.

Family-owned wineries as Baraka or Bibich are located in a beautiful area with views of vineyards and olive orchards

Here you can have a tour of the winery, meet new barrique aging cellar, and learn about the winemaking process. Then choose a few different tasting menus of wines along with locally produced cheese ​and extra virgin olive oils. Reservation is advised.

7. ST JAMES CATHEDRAL IN SIBENIK

The Cathedral of St James in Šibenik (1431-1535), on the Dalmatian coast, bears witness to the considerable exchanges in the field of monumental arts between Northern Italy, Dalmatia and Tuscany in the 15th and 16th centuries. The decorative elements of the Cathedral also illustrate the successful fusion of Gothic and Renaissance art.

The surrounding is truly relaxing and it's a nice place to take pictures, walking through the streets and enjoy tasting truly nice fodds in one of the many restaurants nearby.

8. DELICATESSEN AT PUPA BY PELEGRINI

Pupa is a recently opened bakery that offers superlatives hand made croissant and natural leavened breads with organic grain flours.
