Description
"TRUST US” is a label we use in very rare cases, when some features are so beautiful that they are not visible through photos or videos and can only be enjoyed in person. For this villa we are referring to the quality level of the furnishings, the peace and tranquility of the location and the unique comfort of having access to the exclusive services of Masseria della Volpe.
Casa Carlita is a magnificent property in the heart of the Val di Noto, with a unique location on the top of a hill and surrounded by ancient olive trees. It offers complete privacy and calm in the middle of the nature as it has no neighbours around.
With beautiful views from all angles of the property, it is just 15 minutes away by car from beautiful beaches, Marzamemi a fishermen village or from Noto, the baroque jewel of Sicily.
The interior of Casa Carlita is modern, minimalistic and warm. The living and dining areas both inside and outside are large and bright, perfect for spending convivial moments with family or friends. The fully equipped kitchen, with an elegant and functional design, offers also a pleasant social space.
Casa Carlita counts with two rooms and two suites. The rooms have large windows with a view and the suites have their own private terraces. All of them are spacious with comfortable beds, their own en-suite bathroom, wardrobe and a convenient space for smart-working.
The villa, built with Sicilian materials, is immersed in an olive grove of 39.000sqm. The design garden with typical Sicilian vegetation is harmoniously illuminated by night. The pool is half outdoor, heated by the sun rays and half covered by a loggia with a corner bar. The loggia is under a majestic tower, surmounted by a terrace. From this perfect spot, you can enjoy the Sicilian landscape, the blue of the Ionian Sea or be delighted by the stunning starry sky.
The villa offers a direct private path to the elegant eco-resort Masseria della Volpe. There, you can book a table at Coda Rossa Restaurant, which offers a refined cuisine in a beautiful atmosphere. Upon reservation, you can also enjoy exclusive services such as spa, tennis, beach volley and helicopter landing in the hotel domain.

Conditions
Safety deposit: € 1.500. The deposit will be refunded upon departure, less any damage or consumption (in excess of that agreed in booking). It’s always valid the right to compensation for higher damage.

Cancellation Policy
For cancellations up to 61 days before the arrival date, no charge.
For cancellations up to 30 days before the arrival date, 50% will be charged.
For cancellations less than 30 days before the arrival date, 100% will be charged.

The home is beautiful, clean and almost exactly like the photos. We could tell the owner invested a lot of money in the property. I wish I would have fully understood the location beforehand. The listing mentions an unpaved country road but the road isn’t maintained and driving on 10 minutes of big rocks and through dry farm brush that needs to be cut damaged our rental cars. The location is a 30 minute drive to Marzamemi and a 30 minute drive to the town of Noto. Also, I wrongfully assumed the Airbnb was in close walking proximity to the Masseria della Volpe hotel…it’s actually an 11 minutes drive. I think these are details worth mentioning to anyone considering staying at their property to ensure the guests and property are good matches. Again, a beautiful property but very remote.

The boutique hotel and eco resort, Masseria della Volpe, is indeed 5 min walk from our villa through their lovely citrus plantation, as you were explained at check-in. You also have the option to call their reception and they can send the golf cart to pick you up and the ride will take 2 minutes. We never recommend or indicate to drive there as you need to go around the hill and this takes unnecessary longer.
Noto and Marzamemi are at practically equal distance. It is a short drive to both depending on the road you choose. You certainly noticed that there are currently some temporary works on the road after you leave Casa Carlita and you get to the crossroad near Rosolini. Depending on the deviation you take, it will take you a couple of minutes longer or you can choose the long way as you certainly did. For Noto, you can still take the highway, despite the works and the drive is even shorter.
Regarding our road to reach Casa Carlita, it is a countryside road as we clearly inform our customers. We want to keep it as such in order not to destroy the olive grove atmosphere that surrounds our property. It is well maintained without rocks, just gravel. With a slightly higher car, as we clearly recommend our guests to rent, we have never had any kind of damage or inconvenience.

The villa is in a beautiful remote location at the top of a hill with amazing views. It’s beautifully designed and very comfortable. Would highly recommend staying if relaxing, visiting Noto etc. Also great being on one floor, all very easy.
