Wine information

Muscatedda
Territory: Val di Noto, Buonivini district.
Varietal: White Moscato.
Soil: Clayey alluvial limestone with fine texture.
Muscatedda is the white wine that most authentically expresses our territory. Its label portrays the hill where the vineyard lies, with its characteristic dry stone walls alongside cypress, olive, and carob trees — timeless symbols of our land and of continuity, identity, and hope.

Eureka
Territory: Val di Noto, Buonivini district.
Varietal: Chardonnay.
Soil: Alluvial limestone with fine and medium texture, and clayey limestone with fine texture.
Eureka is a wine of distinctive character, deeply rooted in the territory where its vines are cultivated. It expresses the authentic aromas and flavours of south-eastern Sicily.

Rosanera
Territory: Val di Noto, Buonivini district.
Varietal: Nero d’Avola.
Soil: Limestone with fine texture and calcareous clay.
Rosanera is a rich and elegant rosé characterised by intense and fragrant aromas. It draws inspiration from the traditional ‘pista e mbutta’ method — literally ‘crush and put into barrels’ — an ancient local technique used to craft rosé from Nero d’Avola grapes.

Rosso di Contrada
Territory: Val di Noto, Buonivini district.
Varietal: Nero d’Avola.
Soil: Clayey limestone.
Rosso di Contrada matures in stainless steel for one year and is bottled on fruit days according to the lunar calendar. It then undergoes at least one additional year of bottle ageing. A classic Nero d’Avola, it expresses the authentic character of our district through sweet tannins and vibrant freshness.

Archimede
Territory: Val di Noto, Buonivini district.
Varietal: Nero d’Avola.
Soil: Clay limestone with fine texture and good skeleton presence.
Archimede is crafted from old-vine Nero d’Avola grown on calcareous soil. The deep roots of these vines, over seventy-five years old, impart concentration, richness, minerality, and remarkable depth to the wine, together with an elegance that sets it apart from the other wines we produce.

Uvalsole
Territory: Val di Noto, Buonivini district.
Varietal: White Moscato.
Soil: Limestone with fine texture.
Uvalsole is a balanced and full-bodied sweet wine, expressing intense aromas and the characteristic notes of sun-dried grapes
The Marabino Philosophy
Marabino is deeply rooted in the territory of Val di Noto and has been practising organic and biodynamic agriculture since 2008 — the most sustainable and ethical way to produce wine. Our wines are the result of cultivation methods that respect the soil, the vines, and the animals that inhabit the land. Our goal is to create wines that truly express the character and taste of the territory in which they are produced. We use only grapes grown in our own vineyards.
