We found the villa secluded and private with a great view across a tree-lined river gorge to rocky cliffs on top of which we found goats besporting themselves in the late afternoon. Traffic noise from a nearbye road ius infrequent amd soon fades into un-noticed background noise. The curtained off mezzanine bedroom area was great! The villa was a great place to stay with all its facilities. We enjoyed trips to Palazzolo for shopping, coffee and dinners - cheerful Saporitu Trattoria one in Piazza Popolo and a sophisticated one - Andrea in Via Padre Giacinto, Scicli, Modica and a lovely restaurant - Casa Rossa - just south of Noto plus a 2-night trip to Collesano in the Madonie Mountains. Do eat at the Casala Drinzi there and drive back to the autostrada via Polizzi Generosa for wonderful views. We did 3 walks in the Cava Grande di Cassibile and walked around Palazzolo's Greek theatre ruins. The villa stay was bliss .
