Villa Livia - Villa in Sicilia

Well, what can I say about our stay, besides simply Wow - Bellissimo! What a lovely Villa! We visited Villa Livia in the middle of June to celebrate my wife's b'day, a Group of 8 of us (4 couples) arrived mid-day and were greeted at the Villa by Fabio & Davide, who showed us around the Villa and explained house rules, as well as what there was in the surrounding area. Throughout our stay Fabio was an absolute star helping us arrange local taxi's, a hire car as well as excursions. Thank you Fabio, our trip wouldn't have been as special without all your help. I must also mention Francesca and Micaela, whose comms throughout from booking to our departure was spot on and always available to answer any queries when they arose, thank you to the whole team at Isula Travel for making our trip a truly memorable one. Now, I must mention Marco who is the owner of the Villa, what a fantastic guy! He reached out early in our stay to offer a pool clean by his maintenance technician whenever needed, this was a very kind gesture which we did take him up on during the middle of our stay. The Villa itself was perfect, exactly as advertised and you could see that it was all newly renovated, we spent lots of time in the pool taking in the sun , enjoyed a nice BBQ and made the most of both the inside & outside space at the Villa, when not travelling out. The Villa is about 55 mins away from Catania airport and you will find larger supermarkets and nice restaurants to eat at around 25 mins away by car, we arranged Taxi's for airport transfers & evenings out and hired 1 car for local shopping trips. All in all a truly fantastic holiday and hope to use Isula Travel again in the future & who knows, even come back to stay at Villa Livia for another memorable experience.

Our Sicily rental with Isula Travel was nothing short of perfect. The property was just as advertised - a newly renovated, well appointed home that we thoroughly enjoyed. Francesca and Michaela were available to answer any questions we had before arrival and were gracious enough to even stock the home with some necessities for us due to our late arrival. We would without hesitation use Isula Travel again in the future.

We had a wonderful week in April in Villa Livia. The house is clean, modern and spacious with a lovely pool and plenty of outdoor seating. We travelled to Fontane Bianche by train from Catania airport and the house is a 30 minute walk from the station. We didn’t hire a car for the week and we travelled to Syracusa on the local bus (no 21 or 22) and had a day out to Modica, Scicli and Noto by train so all very possible by public transport. The centre of Fontane Bianche is about a 25 minute walk and we loved the beach, Holiday Market shop and Vela Cafe. Not all of the shops and restaurants were open in April but we were able to buy food and go for a drink and snacks in the village. The ice cream at Bar Cubano (a 5 minute walk away) was excellent! We were really impressed with the communication from the team at Isula Travel, in particular Francesca and Davide, who met us at the house. They were helpful with booking us a taxi to the airport for our early flight and checked in with us during our stay. We were a group of two couples and four single adults and the bedroom arrangement was excellent for us and would also suit families with children. Two bedrooms are upstairs and two are downstairs. The house was great real nice and clean. Big rooms we were 8 people and had enough space. The pool was ice coold (early November) but when the sun shined you could take a short swim in it. It looks good 😊
