Villa Ida - Villa in Sizilien

We had our great annual family gathering at Villa Ida, something we’ve been doing for years in different locations. This time, our choice was Sicily, in the region of Noto, Modica, Ragusa, etc. The house was ideal for our big group of 17 people, between adults and children: beautiful house, comfortable, elegant, spacious, well-equipped and in a quiet rural area. The heatwave took us all by surprise, though, which prevented us from going out as much as we had planned, so that we stayed longer in the house, enjoying the pool, playing ping pong, etc. Fortunately, the air-conditioned rooms made life indoors possible and sleeping easier. We definitely recommend this house for a pleasant family stay. The service provided by IsulaTravel was impeccable, even allowing us an early check in; and the owner, very simpatico, was willing to help in whatever we needed. The only disappointment was that it was impossible to walk anywhere from the house, as we always like to do. Beautiful Villa in Modica. The villa my family stayed in was just beautiful in every way. Plenty of space and every space was impeccable. Francesca was there to great us when we arrived and left us a really nice basket of local foods and beverages. We failed to report a broken toilet seat cover when we arrived but they forgave our forgetfulness and did not charge us. Any time we had a question, Francesca was quick to respond. The outdoor space was just magical with its twisted olive trees, organic garden and fruit trees. The pool was large and we loved that it was a salt water pool-so no harsh chlorine to deal with. Totally trustworthy company! We would definitely use them again.

One particular instance that demonstrated the owner's commitment to our comfort was when we encountered an issue with the heating system. Despite our best efforts, we were unable to figure out how to turn it on. However, the owner promptly came to our rescue. They returned to the house without delay, assessed the situation, and resolved the problem efficiently. Their dedication to ensuring our stay was nothing short of perfect was truly remarkable. Now, let's talk about the house itself. "Beyond amazing" doesn't even begin to describe it. The moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted by an atmosphere of elegance, luxury, and pure serenity. Every room was tastefully decorated, exuding a perfect blend of style and comfort. The attention to detail was impeccable, from the high-quality furnishings to the thoughtfully curated artwork adorning the walls. The house boasted an array of amenities that catered to our every need. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare delicious meals with ease, and the spacious dining area provided a perfect setting for memorable gatherings. One of the highlights of the property was undoubtedly the outdoor space. The meticulously landscaped garden offered breathtaking views, and the terrace provided an ideal spot for relaxation and soaking up the sun. Whether we were enjoying a morning coffee or unwinding with a glass of wine in the evening, the outdoor area provided the perfect backdrop for unforgettable moments. In conclusion, we cannot recommend this house enough. From the attentive agent who went above and beyond to the helpful owner who personally ensured our comfort, the level of service we received was unparalleled. Great stay at Villa Ida. Everything was as described and the host was easy to communicate with. Beautiful house, very spacious. Bigger bins would be useful considering the amount of people that can stay at the property, as the bins fill up easily! Would recommend for anyone to stay at, fantastic place.

The whole agency team were staying in this amazing property for our annual team workshop- We have had a great time there. The air condition was heating up the rooms - so it was no problem for us to be there in February. Hopefully we can come again :-)
