Description
Villa Ida is a true gem of the hyblean area. The property was originally a big and lively farmhouse then completely renovated in 2021 after four years of work. Situated in the countryside of Modica and just 8 km from the town, the villa has a private swimming pool with jacuzzi and offers an amazing view on the big and well-curated garden.
Villa Ida is divided into two buildings and can accommodate up to 24 people in 8 bedrooms equipped with air conditioning and a private bathroom. What is worth mentioning is the incredible luxurious interior design, elegant and glamour with the charm of the Sicilian style.
In the main building there is a magnificent living room, a modern and fully equipped kitchen that opens onto the splendid dining room with its large wooden table. Through 2 stairs you access the first floor, where there are 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms. One of these bedrooms also has a comfortable double sofa bed. Another staircase leads from the kitchen to the ground floor, where a further living area leads to 2 other bedrooms and the charming cellar for the best local labels tasting.
In the other building, adjacent to the main one, there are 3 spacious annexes, each with a comfortable mezzanine, private bathroom and double bed. Two of these, very spacious, also have 2 additional single beds.
Outside, near the garden, an ancient stable completely renovated, houses a second kitchen with a large table also suitable for large groups. The large door, which leads to the outside of the veranda and the barbecue, make the environment particularly bright and lively.
The style combines tradition and modernity and makes the environment very glamour, perfect for going back in time, enjoying a relaxing holiday and a real slow-life.
The verandas, present on both sides of the villa, are tastefully furnished and allow you to have lunch and dinner outdoors and to enjoy the peace of the countryside and the swimming pool during the day and night.
Villa Ida offers everything you need to spend a relaxing and cultural holiday. In fact, in a few minutes by car you can reach the baroque cities of Modica, Noto, Scicli and Ragusa Ibla. You can also relax by the stunning beaches in the areas of Modica, Ragusa or Noto or the Vendicari Nature Reserve nearby Noto. You will have plenty of experiences to do even outside the villa.

N.B: The villa consists of a main building (5 bedrooms) and 3 other depandances that will be open based on the number of guests. No depandance up to 10 people. 1 depandance up to 12 people. 2 depandance up to 14 people. 3 depandance from 15 people onwards.

Conditions
Safety deposit: € 1.500. The deposit will be refunded upon departure, less any damage or consumption (in excess of that agreed in booking). It’s always valid the right to compensation for higher damage.

A perfect villa for groups. Every detail was meticulously cared for. Excellent communication and service.
There were 10 of us and this villa exceeded our expectations. It was more impressive than the pictures suggest. It’s remote, but 10min drive to shops etc. Isula were very obliging and quick to respond to any issues (eg info on local facilities, quick replacement of broken coffee machine). I fully recommend this villa and we are thinking of coming again!

Villa Ida is wonderful. It's stylishly and comfortably furnished, and there is plenty of room both inside and out. The space has been well designed to provide seating areas for as few as one or two as well big spaces for everyone to get together. The grounds are extensive and beautifully maintained. Its a very private and relaxing place. Insula travel and the owner were attentive, very helpful and did everything to make our stay special. We will definitely stay there again.
