Description
Villa Ida is a true gem of the hyblean area. The property was originally a big and lively farmhouse then completely renovated in 2021 after four years of work. Situated in the countryside of Modica and just 8 km from the town, the villa has a private swimming pool with jacuzzi and offers an amazing view on the big and well-curated garden.
Villa Ida is divided into two buildings and can accommodate up to 24 people in 8 bedrooms equipped with air conditioning and a private bathroom. What is worth mentioning is the incredible luxurious interior design, elegant and glamour with the charm of the Sicilian style.
In the main building there is a magnificent living room, a modern and fully equipped kitchen that opens onto the splendid dining room with its large wooden table. Through 2 stairs you access the first floor, where there are 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms. One of these bedrooms also has a comfortable double sofa bed. Another staircase leads from the kitchen to the ground floor, where a further living area leads to 2 other bedrooms and the charming cellar for the best local labels tasting.
In the other building, adjacent to the main one, there are 3 spacious annexes, each with a comfortable mezzanine, private bathroom and double bed. Two of these, very spacious, also have 2 additional single beds.
Outside, near the garden, an ancient stable completely renovated, houses a second kitchen with a large table also suitable for large groups. The large door, which leads to the outside of the veranda and the barbecue, make the environment particularly bright and lively.
The style combines tradition and modernity and makes the environment very glamour, perfect for going back in time, enjoying a relaxing holiday and a real slow-life.
The verandas, present on both sides of the villa, are tastefully furnished and allow you to have lunch and dinner outdoors and to enjoy the peace of the countryside and the swimming pool during the day and night.
Villa Ida offers everything you need to spend a relaxing and cultural holiday. In fact, in a few minutes by car you can reach the baroque cities of Modica, Noto, Scicli and Ragusa Ibla. You can also relax by the stunning beaches in the areas of Modica, Ragusa or Noto or the Vendicari Nature Reserve nearby Noto. You will have plenty of experiences to do even outside the villa.

N.B: The villa consists of a main building (5 bedrooms) and 3 other depandances that will be open based on the number of guests. No depandance up to 10 people. 1 depandance up to 12 people. 2 depandance up to 14 people. 3 depandance from 15 people onwards.

Safety deposit: € 1.500. The deposit will be refunded upon departure, less any damage or consumption (in excess of that agreed in booking). It’s always valid the right to compensation for higher damage.

Everyone at Isula Travel, especially Francesca, was helpful and communicative. The villa (Villa Ida) was amazing, luxurious trip of a lifetime for 15 people!
We had a great experience with Isula Travel, first of all because of the close and accurate contact with Francesca and the help with all our questions before and during our stay. And the villa was fantastic, even better than on the pictures.
We had our great annual family gathering at Villa Ida, something we’ve been doing for years in different locations. This time, our choice was Sicily, in the region of Noto, Modica, Ragusa, etc. The house was ideal for our big group of 17 people, between adults and children: beautiful house, comfortable, elegant, spacious, well-equipped and in a quiet rural area. The heatwave took us all by surprise, though, which prevented us from going out as much as we had planned, so that we stayed longer in the house, enjoying the pool, playing ping pong, etc. Fortunately, the air-conditioned rooms made life indoors possible and sleeping easier. We definitely recommend this house for a pleasant family stay. The service provided by IsulaTravel was impeccable, even allowing us an early check in; and the owner, very simpatico, was willing to help in whatever we needed. The only disappointment was that it was impossible to walk anywhere from the house, as we always like to do. Beautiful Villa in Modica. The villa my family stayed in was just beautiful in every way. Plenty of space and every space was impeccable. Francesca was there to great us when we arrived and left us a really nice basket of local foods and beverages. We failed to report a broken toilet seat cover when we arrived but they forgave our forgetfulness and did not charge us. Any time we had a question, Francesca was quick to respond. The outdoor space was just magical with its twisted olive trees, organic garden and fruit trees. The pool was large and we loved that it was a salt water pool-so no harsh chlorine to deal with. Totally trustworthy company! We would definitely use them again.
