Description
Villa Ida is a true gem of the hyblean area. The property was originally a big and lively farmhouse then completely renovated in 2021 after four years of work. Situated in the countryside of Modica and just 8 km from the town, the villa has a private swimming pool with jacuzzi and offers an amazing view on the big and well-curated garden.
Villa Ida is divided into two buildings and can accommodate up to 24 people in 8 bedrooms equipped with air conditioning and a private bathroom. What is worth mentioning is the incredible luxurious interior design, elegant and glamour with the charm of the Sicilian style.
In the main building there is a magnificent living room, a modern and fully equipped kitchen that opens onto the splendid dining room with its large wooden table. Through 2 stairs you access the first floor, where there are 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms. One of these bedrooms also has a comfortable double sofa bed. Another staircase leads from the kitchen to the ground floor, where a further living area leads to 2 other bedrooms and the charming cellar for the best local labels tasting.
In the other building, adjacent to the main one, there are 3 spacious annexes, each with a comfortable mezzanine, private bathroom and double bed. Two of these, very spacious, also have 2 additional single beds.
Outside, near the garden, an ancient stable completely renovated, houses a second kitchen with a large table also suitable for large groups. The large door, which leads to the outside of the veranda and the barbecue, make the environment particularly bright and lively.
The style combines tradition and modernity and makes the environment very glamour, perfect for going back in time, enjoying a relaxing holiday and a real slow-life.
The verandas, present on both sides of the villa, are tastefully furnished and allow you to have lunch and dinner outdoors and to enjoy the peace of the countryside and the swimming pool during the day and night.
Villa Ida offers everything you need to spend a relaxing and cultural holiday. In fact, in a few minutes by car you can reach the baroque cities of Modica, Noto, Scicli and Ragusa Ibla. You can also relax by the stunning beaches in the areas of Modica, Ragusa or Noto or the Vendicari Nature Reserve nearby Noto. You will have plenty of experiences to do even outside the villa.

N.B: The villa consists of a main building (5 bedrooms) and 3 other depandances that will be open based on the number of guests. No depandance up to 10 people. 1 depandance up to 12 people. 2 depandance up to 14 people. 3 depandance from 15 people onwards.

Safety deposit: € 1.500. The deposit will be refunded upon departure, less any damage or consumption (in excess of that agreed in booking). It’s always valid the right to compensation for higher damage.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this villa. It was truly incredible! The architecture was beautiful and the interiors were also gorgeous. The villa is especially great for large groups -there is plenty of space and you never feel on top of your other guests. Management was extremely easy to work with and responded very quickly. If you are looking for a perfect spot to relax in Sicily with friends and family you cannot find a better place. I would return in a second.
We had an absolutely fantastic vacation at Villa Ida! The villa was beautiful in every respect, and very well appointed—it was perfect for our family! We did not want to leave. And Isula Travel made the whole experience wonderful, helping us with dinner reservations and planning for our vacation, and make check-in / check-out very easy. All around, it was a wonderful vacation and we would absolutely recommend both Villa Ida and Isula Travel!
We had a fantastic stay at Villa Ida. The villa is beautiful and absolutely massive - all of the rooms are big and have en suites, and so as a group of families, we never felt like we were on top of each other. We had cocktails at sunset on the terrace each night, and then loved cooking on the bbq and eating at the huge outdoor dining table. The communication was amazing pre and during our stay - the team were on hand on (Hidden by Airbnb) to offer recommendations and to help book taxis or restaurants. In summary, it’s a perfect and luxurious place for families and big groups, and we would definitely stay again!
the service from isula travel was very good. always available for questions and quick answers. the house was really fantastic. beautiful spaces, stylishly finished, well-equipped kitchen, spacious garden and swimming pool for the children to play in. the perfect place to spend with friends and/or family!! we recommend vila ida to everyone!
Fantastically appointed villa - very high spec and every bedroom is spacious and en suite. Worked brilliantly for 23 of us, including 9 small children. We had a great time. Francesca at Isula Travel was very helpful in booking up meals, organising groceries etc. Picking herbs and tomatoes from the kitchen allotment was an added plus. The only issue was confusion over the number of guests that could stay - if it’s above 16 (the Airbnb maximum) then you will be charged extra
