Description
Villa Petra is an amazing property with heated pool located in a unique position, close to the historic center of the city of Modica.
The property is spread over several levels.
The ground floor consists of a single room that houses a double bed, a sofa and a kitchenette. There are also a laundry room, a bathroom with shower and an elevator that allows you to easily reach the first floor. On request it is possible to add an extra bed. The environment is clean and minimalist but made special by the ceiling with the exposed rock.
The upper floor, which houses the main house, can be reached via stone stairs that lead directly to the outdoor area, the fulcrum of the villa, with kitchen, pergola, dining area and a small pool (3x2), almost set in the rock which, if necessary, can be heated.
Here too, the interior is modern and minimalist, with custom-made furniture and light points that highlight and perfectly illuminate all the rooms.
The living area consists of a kitchen-living room with sofa bed and a bathroom with shower carved into the stone.
The living room opens onto a splendid terrace from which it is possible to admire a wonderful glimpse of Modica Alta and the Cathedral of San Giorgio.
The stairs, behind the kitchen, lead to the master bedroom with walk-in closet and large windows overlooking the living room.
Villa Petra is a unique gem of its kind.
Its position allows you to move easily on foot to discover the historic center of Modica or to reach bars and restaurants. At the same time the privacy of the guests is totally guaranteed by the thick vegetation, to which an almost maniacal care is dedicated, which surrounds and overlooks the villa itself.
The villa is the perfect retreat for those looking for an intimate and romantic place without, however, giving up the comforts of city life.

Safety deposit: € 500. The deposit will be refunded upon departure, less any damage or consumption (in excess of that agreed in booking). It’s always valid the right to compensation for higher damage.

Cancellation Policy
For cancellations up to 61 days before the arrival date, no charge.
For cancellations up to 30 days before the arrival date, 50% will be charged.
For cancellations less than 30 days before the arrival date, 100% will be charged.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der Garten ist wunderschön und total privat. Es war leider noch etwas zu kalt für den Pool, aber er sah sehr schön aus. Das Haus ist eine architektonische Augenweide und hat alles, was man sich nur wünschen kann an Ausstattung.
The apartment was beautiful and in pristine conditions. I suggest the owner to increase the weekly kw rate so that it covers a fair and logical electricity consumption instead of charging guests for extra kw at the check-out. As for the host, Francesca was very sweet, easy to reach and communicate.
We had a wonderful stay in Modica. The place was exactly as described and was within walkable distance to a bunch of great restaurants. We had breakfast outside every day and the splash pool was perfect to cool off in after long beach days. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
