Description
The property is the result of a skilful renovation and enjoys a fantastic view of the countryside and the historic part of Modica.
The villa is spread over 2 levels.
On the ground floor there is an open space with an open kitchen and living room, a double bedroom and a bathroom.
The large windows lead to a veranda adjacent to the house.
A staircase leads to the first floor where there is another double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a single bedroom with a double French bed and en-suite bathroom.
Outside, a driveway leads to the panoramic heart of the property, with a sofa corner, a splendid outdoor kitchen overlooking the pool and the panorama and, finally, the spectacular 17-metre swimming pool from which you can enjoy a wonderful villa.
This property is perfect for a family or 2 couples.
The historic center can be reached in 5 minutes by car while the other tourist locations and the main beaches in the area can be reached in 20 minutes by driving.

We stayed 2 wks at Corten House with my family of 5. And we were in for a treat upon arrival! The house is very nice, the authentic stones for the walls, and the add-on with the living room and kitchen, all the rooms very well designed. But the clear winner was the outdoor space, what a garden!!, and beautifully lit during the evening, lovely, lovely, lovely. Very much liked the outdoor kitchen, and from there gazing over the infinity pool into the scenery. The villa itself has got an ideal location, just outside of Modica, and all the trips are within driving distance, e.g. Etna, Noto, Agrigento. Isulatravel and Ersilia were good hosts. If I had a question or anything, Ersilia offered the solution. I can definitely recommend Isulatravel, and for sure I will work with them in the future. Corten House, thats a special magical place and I can recommend to rent this oasis of tranquility, definitely a place to build memories. Will miss the garden with its stunning views, but the memory will stay forever 😊.
We spent 9 fantastic days at Corten House by IsulaTravel and loved every moment. The house is spotless, beautifully designed, and perfectly equipped for up to six adults. We especially appreciated the peaceful location, the stylish architecture, and the lovely garden with stunning views of the valley and Modica.
Its location is ideal – quiet, yet just minutes´ drive from the baroque beauty of Modica. A big thank you to Ersilia for her excellent support and warm welcome.
We recently returned from an unforgettable family vacation in Sicily, and couldn’t be more grateful to Isula Travel for helping us make it happen. We rented two villas—one for our family and one for my parents—located about 10 minutes apart, and both were lovely. We stayed at Corten House just outside of Modica, and it was truly exceptional. The villa is impeccably clean, beautifully maintained, and feels like a private oasis with a million-dollar view of the Modica skyline. It offered the perfect setting to relax, explore, and spend meaningful time with our three boys. Like any trip, there were a few minor hiccups—some power and WiFi issues—but our local host, Ersilia, was incredibly responsive and helpful any time we needed assistance. Her attentiveness made all the difference and gave us great peace of mind throughout our stay. Thanks to Isula Travel, we created lifelong memories as a family and delivered an epic bucket list trip for my parents. Highly recommend!
We have had an excellent experience with Isula Travel from booking to check out. Great communication and very quick problem solving. The property was amazing, better than we have expected. It is impossible to fully describe the beauty of the place with the pictures. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. We will be glad to use Isula Travel again.
We had a wonderful stay at Corten House. There were only 3 of us, but could easily have felt comfortable with more as there are so many private places to relax. Fantastic pool, everything spotlessly clean, welcome basket of fruit, great recommendations from Ersilia who checked in with us several times via email. The only issue was weak wifi. If you have mobility issues this may not be the place for you, stairs and uneven paving (not uncommon in Italy). Modica was about a 6 minute drive away for supplies or eating out. Fully equipped kitchen, plus outdoor bbq with another kitchen.
